Rotator Cuff Partial Tear - Clinical Case

75 year old patient suffering from chronic pain and limited range of motion in both shoulders. MRI showed partial tear in two tendons of left shoulder. After considering risks and benefits of surgery patient elected to receive Platelet Gel Therapy. |

Physician isolates degenerative ligament and tendon areas. Platelet Gel containing high concentration of growth factor proteins is injected with precision via fluroscopy or ultrasound assisted guidance. |

Procedure tolerated well. Physical therapy started with in two days. Patient reported good progress. Range of motion improved. Patient states the left shoulder feels better than the right after three weeks. |
