Patient previously diagnosed with osteoarthritis. Complains of discomfort to bilateral wrists and knees. Seeks to resume active lifestyle with diminished discomfort.
Physician isolates degenerative tissue and joint areas. Platelet Rich Plasma containing high concentration of growth factor proteins is injected into both wrists and knees with precision via fluroscopy.
Patient tolerates procedure very well. Oral pain management medications prescribed by physician to be taken as needed. She is escorted home by daughter with minimal assistance.
